Description
The Evans EQ Pad gives drummers a simple, adjustable way to shape bass drum tone without permanent modifications. It mounts to the inside of the bass drum shell using Velcro, keeping the head’s playing surface completely clear.
Thanks to its hinged design, the pad swings away from the head on impact, letting the note sustain naturally, then swings back to rest against the head and dampen ongoing vibration. This action tightens up the sound while still preserving some of the drum’s natural resonance, rather than choking it outright.
