Its 2-ply design pairs a top layer of EVANS ShockWeave Mesh with Snare Sim Technology, converting stick impact into sonic vibrations that reproduce the crack and buzz of a real snare wire—just at a fraction of the usual volume.
Because the head works with your kit’s standard snare wires, you’re in control of the response. Leave the wires engaged for that familiar snare crack, or remove them entirely to kill sympathetic buzz for near-silent practice sessions. Either way, the drum still feels and reacts like a traditional batter head.
