ProMark built the Rebound 5A FireGrain to survive heavy playing without changing how a stick feels in your hands. FireGrain is a patented heat-tempering treatment applied to natural hickory, hardening the wood through flame rather than coatings or synthetic additives. The result is a stick that holds up to aggressive playing while keeping the weight and balance drummers expect from a standard hickory 5A.
