ProMark’s Rebound 7A gets a durability boost from FireGrain, a patented heat-tempering process applied directly to the hickory. Instead of coatings or synthetic add-ons, the wood itself is hardened by flame, giving these sticks a toughness that goes well beyond standard hickory drumsticks.
The tempering process doesn’t change the stick’s original weight or balance, so you get the familiar 7A response and feel while gaining extra resistance to wear. That means drummers can dig in harder and play through longer sets without sticks breaking down as quickly – no gimmicks, just reinforced natural wood.
