Description
The Catapult Mini RX takes advantage of the Cat 5/6 cabling already run through most buildings, converting it into a fully analog four-channel snake. Pair it with a compatible Catapult transmitter and you can send balanced mic or line-level signal wherever a shielded Cat 5 cable can reach, without touching a digital converter or power supply along the way.
Because the unit is entirely passive, there’s no power draw and no A/D conversion to worry about. Signal travels straight from the RJ45 connector to the male XLR outputs, keeping the tone clean and untouched between rooms.
If your venue or install already has network cable snaked through the walls, this module lets you repurpose it for audio runs instead of pulling new multichannel snake cable. That’s a real advantage for contractors and touring crews alike, cutting down on both the cost and bulk of traditional cabling.
Every Catapult module in the line is cross-compatible and sold on its own, so you can build the exact rig you need. Run a Mini RX with a matching Mini TX for a compact point-to-point pair, or combine it with a Catapult TX4 stage box if you’d rather plug mics in on one end and keep a small breakout unit on the other.
