Description
The Rycote InVision INV-7 is part of Rycote’s InVision Broadcast series, engineered for on-camera and studio setups where a discreet, windshield-free mount is required. Instead of traditional elastic bands, it relies on Rycote’s Lyre suspension system to keep handling noise, cable knocks, and stand vibration out of your recordings.
Its low-profile design suits desk mounts, mic stands, boom poles, or suspended rigs, making it a flexible choice for broadcast and studio audio professionals who need clean sound without bulky housing.
- Compatible with mics such as Schoeps CMIT-5U, Audio-Technica AT4073a, Sennheiser ME66/K6, Neumann KMR81i, DPA4017, Beyerdynamic MCE86, and the Sennheiser MKH range
- Fitted with 2 x 19-25mm universal clips and a Standard (70mm wide) Lyre
- Includes long bar with 70mm (2.75″) centres
An InVision set includes two Lyre suspensions, a mounting bar sized to match, and, for some configurations, a reducing sleeve (INV-4) to accommodate smaller mic bodies like the Schoeps CCM series. Lyre widths come in either 43mm (InVision) or 70mm (Standard), paired with mounting bars in 25mm or 70mm lengths depending on the setup.
If you’re after a broadcast-ready shock mount that skips the windshield but keeps the sound clean, the INV-7 fits the brief.
