Description
The Clear-Com RS701 is a wired, single-channel analog beltpack designed to keep crew connected through demanding production and live event environments. It pairs a clean microphone pre-amp with a capable headphone amplifier, delivering intelligible talk and listen performance over standard 2-wire intercom lines.
- Mic-to-line frequency response of 280–15k Hz (±3dB) with less than 0.1% distortion and greater than 65dB signal-to-noise ratio
- Headphone amplifier covering 150–20k Hz (±3dB), under 0.5% distortion, and better than 50dB signal-to-noise
- Adjustable sidetone and over 80dB earphone-to-mic crosstalk isolation for clear communication
- Two 3-pin XLR (M/F) connectors for the intercom line, plus a 4-pin XLR-M headset connector
- Green LEDs for Power and Talk, an Orange LED for Call, so status is always visible at a glance
- Runs on 12–30 VDC, drawing 13mA at idle, 24mA during average talk, and 28mA when talking with signaling
- Rated for 0°C to 70°C operation and storage, with tolerance up to 90% relative humidity (non-condensing)
- Compact footprint at 3.4in H x 4.5in W x 1.7in D and just 0.66 lbs
Whether you’re managing a broadcast crew, running a live show, or coordinating backstage communication, the RS701 delivers the dependable Clear-Com Sound engineers count on shift after shift.
