The Music Series One X carries forward Alessandro’s signature open-air design, built around a vented diaphragm paired with a large air chamber. That combination keeps frequency resonance in check and lets bass extend further without the muddiness that plagues cheaper drivers. A de-stressing process applied to the diaphragm during manufacturing pulls out extra inner detail, while the low-mass polymer construction is shaped to spread resonant modes thin, cutting down their amplitude across the frequency range. The diaphragm’s mass is tuned specifically to reach a full 20kHz bandwidth without breaking up at the low end.
Inside, the voice coil is wound from ultra-high purity, long crystal (UHPLC) oxygen-free copper — a wire choice aimed at clean signal transfer with minimal tonal coloration. Paired with high-power neodymium magnets, this setup pushes efficiency higher, resulting in a smoother, more dynamic presentation and a wider, more convincing sense of soundstage.
