This bundle pairs the ART Headamp 4 with a set of Sony MDR-7506 headphones, giving you everything needed to expand headphone monitoring in a home or project studio right out of the box.
The Headamp 4 lets you split one headphone or line-level signal into four separately controlled outputs, so multiple listeners can dial in their own volume without touching the source. It accepts both 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch inputs, wired in parallel, and mirrors that flexibility on the output side with four 1/4-inch and four 1/8-inch jacks. That means it works equally well fed from a mixer, audio interface, computer, or portable media player, and it can drive studio headphones, in-ears, or custom monitors in any mix of the above. Housed in a stackable extruded metal case, it’s built to sit neatly alongside other rack gear while running quiet and clean.

The included Sony MDR-7506 headphones are a long-time favorite in recording, broadcast, and film work. Their closed-back, around-ear design keeps outside noise out and prevents sound from leaking into nearby microphones during overdubs, while low impedance means they’ll still get plenty loud off modest headphone outs like those on camcorders or MIDI workstations. A folding design makes them easy to pack up and carry between sessions.
