Description
The DW MCD2 Machined Chain Drive Double Pedal takes the design language of DW’s MDD Machine Direct Drive pedal and adapts it for players who prefer the traditional chain-drive response of the 9000 series. It shares the same industrial build quality and patented engineering as its direct-drive sibling, but swaps in an Adjustable, Sprocket-Less Cam. A gear shift-style lever lets you switch between the most popular chain-drive cam settings in seconds, and it stays within easy reach once the pedal is mounted to your bass drum.
Like other DW double pedals, the MCD2 uses the brand’s patented Single Post Casting design, positioning the auxiliary pedal nearer to your hi-hat pedal. That closer spacing makes it easier to shift your foot between the two, or play both at once.
