Description
The Koss KSC75 skips the headband entirely, using pivoting clip-style earplates that rest comfortably over the ear instead. Soft foam cushions keep the fit gentle for long listening sessions, and because the design is open-back, you’ll still hear ambient sound around you rather than feeling sealed off.
Inside each earpiece, a dynamic driver with a titanium-coated diaphragm (2 mil thick) adds stiffness to the moving element, which helps cut down on mechanical distortion for a cleaner reproduction of the original recording. Koss pairs this with computer-optimized neodymium iron boron magnets, so the KSC75 can still hit satisfying volume levels even when powered by low-voltage portable gear like phones or DAPs. Oxygen-free copper voice coils round out the signal path, improving conduction for a clearer overall sound.
Frequency response spans 15 Hz to 25,000 Hz, giving the KSC75 more reach than its compact size might suggest.
