Built with a lightweight 10″ hardwood shell and topped with a natural drum head, this pandeiro is fully tunable thanks to its flush rim and hook-style tension rods, letting you dial in the exact pitch and response you’re after.
What sets this pandeiro apart is its jingle configuration: five sets of platinellas fitted with traditional flat discs instead of the more common cupped style. This design choice delivers a drier, more authentic “chuck” sound that’s prized in traditional samba and choro playing, rather than the brighter jangle you’d get from standard jingles.
