Description
Forget clamping a pop filter to a stand—the DT101 stands on its own. It’s the first desktop pop filter of its kind, built for podcasters, streamers, and voice-over pros who want clean vocal pickup without extra hardware cluttering the desk.
- Weighted 1/4″ thick steel base with dense foam padding to keep your desk scratch-free
- 13″ flexible gooseneck (shared with Stedman’s PS101) positions the screen anywhere within 16″ of your desk surface
- Screen orientation doesn’t matter—just keep the label facing the vocalist and maintain 2″ of distance from the mic
- Stedman’s patented Proscreen metal filter material, used across their entire pop filter line
Rather than just diffusing plosive bursts like foam or fabric screens, Proscreen actively redirects airflow away from the capsule. That means tight, close-mic vocal takes stay free of popped P’s and B’s, while the open metal mesh lets sound pass through unobstructed—no muffling, no tonal coloration.
Both the steel base and the Proscreen mesh carry a durable powder-coat finish built to last. The gooseneck is wrapped in heavy-duty vinyl shrink material for quiet, low-noise repositioning. When it’s time to clean up, the screen simply washes with dish soap and hot water. Every DT101 is hand-assembled in the USA and backed by Stedman’s lifetime warranty.
