Description
Hum and buzz on a pedalboard usually trace back to shared ground paths between power outputs. The Pedal Power 2 Plus solves this at the source by giving every single output its own isolated supply, so units never interact and rob each other’s tone. It’s built around a custom toroidal transformer with separate balanced windings per output, avoiding the stray magnetic hum that cheap wall-wart transformers dump into nearby audio paths. Instead of a compact switching supply (fine for a phone charger, not so fine for a signal chain), Voodoo Lab uses a linear, audiophile-grade design for steady, clean current.
- 4x 9V/12V outputs at 100mA each, switchable per-output between standard 9V (PSA-style) and 12V (Boss ACA) via bottom-panel switches
- 2x 9V high-current outputs at 250mA, switchable between regulated and unregulated power for gear like the Boss DD-20 or Line 6 DL4
- 2x 9V outputs with SAG control, letting you dial voltage down toward 4V for vintage-style fuzz, octave, and distortion response (best left off for digital effects)
- Fully isolated outputs can be combined via custom cables for 18V (e.g. MXR Flanger) or 24V (many Electro-Harmonix units, including the Deluxe Memory Man)
Cables included: six 5.5×2.1mm right-angle barrels, two 5.5×2.1mm straight barrels, one 5.5×2.5mm ‘red’ barrel for Line 6, one 3.5mm mini plug for vintage MXR/EHX gear, and one 9V battery snap for pedals without a jack.
